Trendopic has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Trendopic is committed to protecting children. We strictly prohibit, and act against, any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children. This page describes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Zero tolerance
The following are strictly prohibited on Trendopic and result in immediate content removal and account termination:
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
Content that sexualizes minors, including text, images, or links.
Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to exploit or endanger a minor.
Facilitating, promoting, or linking to any of the above.
How we prevent and act on CSAE
Our Privacy Policy and in-app Community Guidelines prohibit CSAE and all content that endangers children.
Users can report unsafe content or users directly in the app (see below). Reported content is reviewed and removed when it violates these standards, and the offending account is banned.
We remove violating content and terminate the accounts responsible.
We preserve relevant information and report apparent CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local law enforcement, as required by law.
The app is intended for users aged 18 and over.
In-app reporting
Anyone can report a comment or user from within Trendopic: open the "⋮" / report control on any comment and choose Report. Reports about child safety are prioritized. You can also contact us at the address below.
Compliance
Trendopic complies with applicable child-safety laws and reports to regional and national authorities as required. We cooperate with law enforcement on child-safety matters.
